To all of you who have followed my diaries on Misty, I want to share the final chapter with you.
To those who helped us get this extra time, who tipped, recc'ed, hugged or just plain supported me in the fight she and I were fighting, thank you. To those of you who donated, some just the little you had, others more than I would have ever expected, you have a special place in kitty heaven and in my heart.
Just to recap, she went to a dermatologist for severe ear infection which turned out to be a polyp. There was one operation with a 50% success rate that I could have done or a larger one at double the price. Well with no money i hoped for the former, and people here came through like nothing other. The donations allowed me to ask the hospital if I could get the larger operation and pay the rest off which they agreed to. So things looked good.
Then the operation, a success until suture removal when I thought there was to much infection and kicked my heels til the dermatologist could look (the surgeon had been called away) He found another polyp..eeps. So at no cost to me she had a second, different type of operation to get rid of it..it turned out to be adhered to her ear canal and pathology showed two aggressive tumors, not a polyp.
Follow me below the fancy croissant for what happened today and how we got here.
